Gutter FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear most often about gutter care.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Most homes in tree-covered neighborhoods need gutter cleaning twice a year, once after leaf fall and once in late spring. Homes with few nearby trees can often go a full year between visits.
What are the signs a gutter needs repair?
Common signs are water spilling over the edge during rain, sagging runs, rust spots, separated seams and staining on the fascia boards behind the gutter.
Do you repair downspouts as well as gutters?
Yes. A downspout that is crushed or disconnected stops the whole gutter from draining, so downspout reattachment and replacement are part of every repair visit.
Is this a real company?
No. Zanthwick Gutter Works is a fictional business created for a technical test. It does not offer services and does not accept customers.
